*The pseudonym 'Jean S. Partre' holds a special significance for Selin, as it is delicately plucked from the pages of French author Boris Vian’s captivating novel, 'Froth on the Daydream' ('L'Écume des jours') written in 1947. In this whimsical tale, Jean-Sol Partre playfully honors philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, capturing the era's intellectual vibrancy. Similarly, Selin's 'Jean S. Partre' embodies artistic expression and creativity, marking her journey into art and storytelling.
